Youth ministry and Everyday Life
IASYM Biennial European Conference
Amsterdam, The Netherlands
March 30 – April 2, 2016
We invite paper proposals from scholars researching youth ministry. In recent years, the study of religion has expanded from a focus on formal religious activities to include the many activities and locations where religion is being practiced in everyday life. This lived religion is expressed both within the church but also in many other locations and contexts. We invite papers that reflected upon youth ministry as it is lived out in the lives of young people and youth work in everyday life. But, as always, we also welcome papers on a variety of topics that contribute to our understanding of youth ministry.
Please submit abstracts for paper proposals by 7 September 2015 and no longer than 300 words to the conference’s academic chair, Harmen van Wijnen: at email@example.com .
